What Do We Say?
CWind has submitted a Feed in Tariff (FIT) application number: FIT-FZ233HP-Clinton Energy FD 6.0 MW site to the Ontario Power Authority (OPA). This application is for a 20 year power purchase agreement and grid connect. Approval of this application is critical to our development process. Please contact you M.P.P and let him/her know that this application is for a demonstration site of a technology invented here in Ontario, designed in Ontario and built in Ontario.
The OPA requires that by January 2012 each wind farm developer will provide evidence of a minimum of 50% local content manufacturing of the wind generators used. CWind’s will exceed this future requirement having 52% local content on the FD 2.0 MW turbine prototype and 79% local content in production.
Please let your M.P.P’s know of this exciting project and the required approval of the FIT contract.
